Camille Marino is an activist, author, and former political prisoner living in central Florida. Since her founding of Eleventh Hour for Animals (formerly called Negotiation is Over) in 2009, her work to expose taxpayer-funded animal experimentation earned her 13 arrests, repeated malicious prosecutions for free speech “crimes,” and over a year behind bars.
The legal terrorism, betrayals, and defamation campaigns had one objective: to secure her silence. And they all failed. The monkey labs inside University of Florida for which she paid a very high price to expose ultimately shut down for good.
Camille’s controversial tell-all memoir was published on April first of this year, against and in spite of relentless and ongoing threats of further prosecutions and incarceration.
